An exciting new interim role has become available, covering independant SEMH secondary schools across the South East/East Midlands.

As a National Schools Operational Manager, you will overseeing small SEMH speciality schools with between 35-50 students, all of which have been rated 'Good' by OFTSTED (apart from new schools which haven't been rated yet). During the working week, your time will be divided between working from home and travelling to the small number of schools in your patch. You may occasionally be asked to visit schools in the North.

In this role, you will expected to evidence experience in both a senior teaching position (Headteacher experience preferred) and within a SEMH environment. You will need to have experience working alongside the new OFSTED framework. You will need to demonstrate passion for specialist education and an ability to work in an encouraging, collaborative team with a non-hierarchal structure. You will deliver exceptional leadership to bring the schools up to an Outstanding rating as per OFSTED.

The position will initially role for 1 term with the potential to be extended for a further term. Daily rate to be discussed upon application.

What qualifications must you hold?

  • Senior teaching experience in a SEMH environment necessary (Headteacher experience preferable)
  • Experience working with the new OFSTED framework
  • Must hold a valid driving license
