Panoramic Care are hiring on behalf of a Trust who are looking for an Interim Finance Manager to join them for 3 months. You will play a crucial role in providing financial leadership and support to the Multi Academy Trust. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the effective financial management and sustainability of the academies during a key transitional period. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real difference in the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the Multi Academy Trust.
- Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including budget forecasting and variance analysis.
- Collaborating with academy finance teams to support financial planning and budgetary control.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and government requirements.
- Providing financial advice and guidance to senior leadership and the Board of Trustees.
- Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- A proven track record of working as a Finance Manager within a Multi Academy Trust environment.
- Strong financial management and accounting skills.
- Excellent knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with BPS (Budget Planning and Strategy) is highly desirable.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) would be advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Please note that this is an interim role, with a fixed-term contract of 3 months, starting immediately. The position will be based for 3 days on site in schools in Oxfordshire with two days remote. This could potentially become permanent after the contract.
