Panoramic Care are working exclusively with a reputable child care provider who offer an excellent induction and training package, as well higher than average pay rates. Working 10 days a month, 20 days off.
As a Residential Children's Support Worker, you will work in a children's home, supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will immerse yourselves in the young person's everyday life; taking part in activities, helping plan days, assisting in therapies, accompanying to appointments, cooking together, shopping with etc. In general your role will be to create a positive environment for the young people you support, especially in relation to their health, safety and education. Many children may have experienced difficult upbringings and trauma, hence a large part of this role is befriending the children, whilst offering them strong support and guidance.
You will work two days in a row, sleeping at the residential home between these shifts, with food included. You then get 4 full days off; this role benefits from a great work life balance.
- £60 extra per sleep in (at least 5 a month)

- Level 3 Diploma in Childcare course will be provided if you do not have this qualification
We are looking for passionate people who have an interest in working with vulnerable young people. Any experience in this area, such as youth work, voluntary support, or a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare is desirable.
